Brief Biography:
Father is Bunungu and his older brother by some twenty years was Lumaluma Yunupinu. Collaborating with his wives. Yananymul Mununggur and Rerrirrwana Munuyngurr, Yalpi sually Gumatj diamond clan designs in his painting. His father-in-laws are the late Mutitjpuy and Djutjadjutja Munungurr. Through continual participation in sacred ceremony, Yalpi will eventually become djirrikay or ritual specialist.
