The folded book was hand written in Pali, an ancient liturgical language originated in India. Not a common spoken languagh, Pali was used to most exclusively to record the scriptures of Theravada Buddhism (known as Pali canon or Tipitaka). This script was bounded in two gilded lacquered covers decorated with delicate floral patterns and glass mosaic studs. According to a Buddhism scholar in Thailand, the content of the book is about the justice according to Theravada Buddhism teaching. Particularly, it teaches people how to practice in daily activity like among family members in order to achieve harmonious relationships.
